Whether we are the result of creation or evolution, nature or nurture or we act mostly in rational or emotional manner; our minds are a treasure chest of facts, figures, information and our subconscious is a memory bank of events, experiences and wisdom. In this book, I explore ways to appreciate your mind and develop strategies, tools and techniques to maximise your potentials based on your own volition rather than being led and coerced by others.  You will learn to exercise control over your mind. If you are not happy the way things are; you can change it.  Anything that is not desirable and not compatible with your wishes and demands can be changed. 

The happiest, the most fulfilled, the most successful, the most content, the most enlightened among us are the people that at some stage of their life realised what they are here for.   They realised and recognised their calling. They drew and continue to draw their inspiration from the clarity of their purpose, a defined goal and a crystal vision of who they are, what they want and what they are here for.  They embody a life of serenity, contentment, and happiness.  They are not the chosen ones, they did not get there by a privileged right, inheritance or luck.  They are the blessed ones among us that appreciated in their own time and in their own way that they are here for a cause, a vocation, a job, a purpose or whatever.  They trusted their feelings and the messages from within and acted on the confidence that they are on the right path. Anyone of us has within us all the ingredients, abilities and potential to realise our life’s purpose and define a goal, a path for our life. 

Everybody’s success depends on the mastery of emotions.   Any emotion good or bad is natural. They arise as a result of situations and circumstances. While good emotions make us happy and elate us, negative or bad emotions cause us frustration and result in unhappiness. Negative emotions lead to undesirable, unwanted and negative behaviours.  Getting rid of or snapping out of negative behaviour poses a challenge, particularly if that behaviour persisted over time and turned into an unwanted habit. This booklet suggests better ways to overcome or replace old, undesirable habits with new and desirable one.

 Developing crucial life skills are necessary to succeed in life.  Most of these skills are out of bound in traditional or mainstream learning process.  To succeed in life, we need to appreciate and acquire the skills needed to help us get by, flourish and succeed in life. It is crucial that we become competent in these skills and acquire the confidence to see us through the challenges and opportunities that life present to us. To consolidate and maintain desired skills, it is crucial to remember that without the process of self-feedback and self-analysis we are likely to quit before we give these skills the chance to be developed and mastered. Quitting prematurely leads to cynicism, negativity and also results in the negative habit of giving up at the slightest sign of difficulty;
